Solea is a Country house with pool, perfect for couple holidays
Solea consists in the old Farmhouse and three outbuildings:
- The old farmhouse dating back to the 1800s, made entirely of handmade bricks in the village kiln, was renovated and completely restored in 2006. You will find at the ground floor, large communal areas such as the Reception with a tourist information corner and presentation of typical local products; the Winter Garden, a delightful conservatory for peaceful reading hours and lounging; the cosy, intimate dining room and fireplace offering an enchanting, stylish ambience; a reading room with an Italian and foreign library. Outside, a large terrace overlooks the swimming pool. Furnished with white chairs and tables, it is covered, when needed, by a large sliding curtain that shelters the space in case of rain or full sun.
- On the first floor of the farmhouse along the ring corridor are six double rooms all looking the rolling hills.
- The old “chicken coop” now houses two superior double rooms called the “le case del Pozzo”: both enjoy a natural terrace with a stunning view.
- "Antico Forno" is a one-storey annex where bread was once baked for local families. It has been transformed into a self-contained studio/suite of 50sqm.
- The sheepfold, which we have called T_HOUSE because of its T-shaped layout, houses independent, spacious and bright double rooms. Each of them has its own private garden, where you can feel at one with the landscape.
-
The outdoor pool (1.40 m. deep, 16 m x 8 m) has ozone-treated water, so it does not sting the eyes, has no smell and above all is excellent as an anti-ageing treatment.
As well as the external structure, the interiors and furnishings have been carefully designed to be in harmony with the context, its history and landscape.
Custom-designed oak furniture, like the ancient oak forest next to the Casale, hand-woven natural linens (by Tessiture Pardi - Perugia) in dusty hues recaling the surrounding landscape, plaster in the typical shades of local old country houses.
All realized with a clean and essential design, to let the panorama breathe everywhere. The interior spaces of the Casale constantly dialogue with the external landscape, with small and large openings that draw views of the best Italian Renaissance.
Given the seismic nature of the area, Solea has been entirely renovated with reinforced concrete beams and pillars, according to anti-seismic criteria, in compliance with the regulations for construction in seismic zones in force at the time of construction and which the Province of Ancona has had since 1972.
